About the Event
CRFR (Chris's Ride for Reason) is a family-friendly cycling event held at Veterans Park at the Delaware YMCA in honor of Chris Leyva, a beloved former YMCA trainer who lost his battle with sarcoma. The event raises funds for sarcoma research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
Participants can choose from either a 25-mile or 50-mile route and enjoy a day filled with food, refreshments, raffle baskets, and activities for the whole family. Whether you're an avid cyclist or simply looking to support a meaningful cause, CRFR offers an opportunity for everyone to make a difference.
All registration options include a post-ride meal and refreshments, and 100% of proceeds benefit sarcoma research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute.
Rider without 2026 T-Shirt = CRFR 2026 T-shirt/swag bag is NOT included in your ticket price. Select merch and 2026 T-shirts will be available for purchase on ride day (while supplies last).

25 Mile Ride
This 25-mile intermediate ride begins at 9:00 a.m. and follows paved roads through Delaware County. Riders will enjoy one water and snack stop along the route, followed by a post-ride celebration with food and refreshments. Participants must be 18 years or older.
