Ride for Reason was founded to create a lasting impact inspired by our best friend Chris Leyva. In 2020, Chris, who was full of life and adventure, lost a five-month battle with cancer. We realized that by uniting our community, we could advance research for rare cancers through Chris's passion for exercise, which is why Ride for Reason was created. Our ride is family-friendly, and unlike other events, 100% of funds raised go directly to The Sarcoma Research Fund at The James Cancer Research Hospital at Ohio State, with no overhead costs, and there’s no requirement for participants to raise money themselves.
